Cooking Guidelines
This product is prepared the traditional way, please check the stones/impurities before washing with water. 1. Wash Al Alali Freekeh with water. Drain and set aside. 2. In a saucepan, sauté Al Alali Freekeh with ghee or vegetable oil. Set aside. 3. Meanwhile, boil the chicken with water, add onions, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves allspice and cardamom seeds. Set the chicken aside and strain the chicken broth.4. For each 1 cup of the sautéed Freekeh, add 1 1/4 cups of the strained chicken broth. 5. Cook on low heat for 1 hour. add more chicken broth when it is absorbed if required, stirring occasionally until cooked. add salt to taste. 6. pre-heat oven, Grill the chicken if desired. 7. In a serving plate, place the cooked freekeh, add the chicken on top. 7. Garnish with roasted almonds and pine seeds. 8. Serve with green salad or Yogurt
