Cooking Guidelines

Shopping List: Serves 4
450g Sausages
2 Onions
115g Mushrooms
1 Red pepper (optional)

1. Preheat the oven to 180c, 170c fan assisted, Gas Mark 4. 2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken and onions until browned. Place in an ovenproof casserole dish with the mushrooms. 3. Blend the contents of the sachet with the tomato puree and the water and add to the dish. Cover and cook in the oven for 1 hour or until chicken is tender and cooked through.4. Enjoy with baked potatoes and green beans.
For Slow Cookers: Fry sausages and onion in 1 tbsp oil until browned. Place in slow cooker with mushrooms, pepper and sachet contents. mix well, then stir in 300ml boiling water, cover and cook on 'low' setting for 8-10 hours or 'high' for 4-6 hours.
Slow cooker vary. Instructions are based on a 3 liter model.
